Rumble Tree and Turf was founded in 1989 by Charles J. Rumble, a lifelong resident of Modesto, CA. A farmer for most of his life, He chose to take his experience and knowledge with plant life and apply it to a suburban setting. At that time, our services consisted primarily of ornamental tree and shrub pest control. Due to our commitment to excellence and our focus on customer service, our customer base grew steadily through the years. 

In 2003, after his son, Charlie, graduated from Cal Poly State University, Charles J. and his son formed a partnership within the business. As a result, they expanded our services into tree trimming/removal, stump grinding, turf/lawn care, and weed/vegetation management. Due to our service expansion and customer loyalty, we have a broad customer base of 2500 customers, ranging from residential customers to municipalities. As we enter our 26th year of business, it is no surprise that many of our original customers are still with us.

It is our desire to create more lifelong customers by providing the best possible service in tree and landscape care to our customers. Our commitment to excellence continues, as we are constantly upgrading equipment, updating literature and procedures, and attending classes, training sessions, and seminars related to our trade. As a company, we are committed to providing the highest quality of service to our customer, and will work closely with our customers to ensure this will happen.
